First I'd like to say a Happy 22nd Birthday to my boyfriend and this is dedicated to him

Second, I'm alive in DA! Sorry for the veeery long absense.

I tried to finish some things and let go of some. I'll do my best to update more and finally open a chibi commission.

I finally decided to use the logo I did in graphic design class as a watermark instead of the usual DA logo.

I really liked the logo so yeah Plus I changed my sig. Just wanted something without Katakana on it, lol

The title is the tagalog word for guitarist

--Long description/story behind the work--

Something funny happened before I made this work. This was kinda rushed since I wasn't really planning to give him something and because I had some other things I needed to finish.

I've only decided to do this last night and thought of surprising him by tagging him on Facebook (yeah, I use facebook... hardly hahaha). But then we had a conversation about greeting him in Facebook because a lot of people were already greeting him.

BTW I only translated this. We were really chatting in Tagalog

I said, "Do I need to greet you in FB when I'll just greet you here in YM! and when we meet tomorrow? :"

"I think so. But then why not draw for me and then post it on FB? "

I was kinda shocked for a sec because it felt like he read my mind then I said "I was going to do exactly that! T_T
Now it's not a surprise anymore! ;;__;; Okay forget I said anything, ERASE ERASE!"

He just laughed it off and agreed to my silly decision.

Thinking back, I should have lied and said I didn't have time to draw for him and THEN surprise him. Curse my surprised brain who couldn't think clearly back then.

In the end I finished my work early in the morning (around 4am) before I did this and ended up not having much sleep when I finished it @_@ Yeah I got absorbed into doing this.

I have a photo reference for this but I'm too lazy to upload right now =o=. I'll do it later.

He hardly uses this guitar anymore ever since he learned to play the bass. Sadly I don't have any photo reference of him playing bass so I had to do with his old guitar ;_;

BTW I'm glad to say he really liked it and he's currently using it as his profile pic.
